After a certain time of use, the spokes in spoked motorcycle wheels lose the necessary tension, causing radial runout of the rim compared to the ideal circle, and the consequences are degraded driving performance, vibration while driving and higher fuel consumption. The aim of this thesis was to develop a device that will facilitate and accelerate process of tightening spokes on motorcycle wheels. One should not forget that the device is costeffective for smaller workshops. Within this thesis, first it was conducted the analysis of the existing solutions on the market and defined the list of user requirements from which is created technical specifications for the development of the device. Functional decomposition on which basis is made morphological matrix with possible solutions was created at the stage of conception. Based on partial solutions in the morphological matrix, it was generated three concepts. Based on the technical and economic evaluation of concepts, it was selected a solution that was structurally elaborate, made the necessary calculations, and has created a computer model with the software package Creo Elements Pro Schools Edition, with all the documents necessary for making devices.
