This bachelor thesis shows proces of designing tractor mounted forestry winch. Device must be carried by a tractor and driven by PTO shaft and tractor hydraulics. In the begining some general information about forestry exploatation and winches were given. After that, market analysis was made. After market analysis function decomposition and morphological matrix were made. Based on the given solutions in morphological matrix two concepts were generated. By evaluating generated concepts, better one was selected and is fully elaborated. For selected concept 3D model was made with required calcualtions and tehnical documentation.
